Supporting development of co-operative management in the GBRWHA, by GBRMPA and Indigenous peoples (A3.3)

General Objectives:

  1. To provide information and relationship-building support to GBRMPA and Indigenous Traditional Owners who wish to be involved in future co-management, in developing a process and structure for co-operative management of areas and natural resources within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park area
  2. To help develop a framework for co-management and other forms of partnership in management of the GBRMP, suited to Indigenous management and potential later participation of other stakeholder groups.
